Memorial Service for Yale Graduate Student

A memorial Mass for Brandon Brei, a graduate student at Yale University, will be held on April 5 at noon at St. Thomas More Church, 268 Park St. in New Haven.

Brei, whose family lives in Orange, Conn., was studying microbiology. He drowned last Saturday while trying to save another swimmer in the waters off Puerto Rico.

Following the service, there will be a reception in the Chapel Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the Brei family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Brandon Brei Memorial Fund for Field Research in Vector-Borne Diseases, Yale University School of Medicine, 100 Church Street South, Suite 211, Haven, CT 06519.
