Former Senator Gary Hart to speak on war with Iraq

Gary Hart, two-term senator from Colorado, will hold a wide-ranging discussion on the war, homeland security, and American Foreign Policy, this Saturday evening at Yale Law School. The event is free and open to the public.

Gary Hart, two-term senator from Colorado, will hold a wide-ranging discussion on the war, homeland security, and American Foreign Policy, this Saturday evening at Yale Law School. The event is free and open to the public.

Senator Hart co-chaired the U.S. Commission on National Security/21st Century and the Council on Foreign Relations task force on homeland security, which recently released its report “America: Still Unprepared, Still in Danger.” While in the Senate Hart championed intelligence reform, energy independence, and founded the Military Reform Caucus. Hart has written more than a dozen books, the most recent of which, The Restoration of the Republic, focuses on reviving civic values in American life. Senator Hart was a guest lecturer at Yale Law School last spring.
