Dutch Lutheran Church Leader to Speak at Yale

Klaas Zwanepol, professor of Lutheran theology at the University of Utrecht, will deliver a lecture on "Luther's Christology" on March 25 at 7 p.m., in the Latourette Lecture Hall at Yale Divinity School, 409 Prospect St.

Klaas Zwanepol, professor of Lutheran theology at the University of Utrecht, will deliver a lecture on “Luther’s Christology” on March 25 at 7 p.m., in the Latourette Lecture Hall at Yale Divinity School, 409 Prospect St.

Zwanepol has written extensively on Lutheran theology, most recently on the doctrine of justification from a historical and ecumenical context. He is editor of the Luther Bulletin. In addition to his academic post, he is the theological adviser to the Evangelical-Lutheran Churches in the Netherlands, as well as to the Uniting Protestant Churches in the Netherlands.

The lecture is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
