Physicians of the Yale Medical Group Will Continue to Care for Patients Despite Job Action by Clerical and Technical Employees

The physicians of the Yale Medical Group, who provide patient services at several different locations in New Haven, will offer uninterrupted care during the pending one week strike March 3-7 by unionized Yale University employees.

The physicians of the Yale Medical Group, who provide patient services at several different locations in New Haven, will offer uninterrupted care during the pending one week strike March 3-7 by unionized Yale University employees.

David Leffell, M.D., professor and senior associate dean of clinical activities at Yale Medical School, said services will be offered at all New Haven locations, among them the Yale Physicians Building at 800 Howard Avenue and the Temple Medical Building at 40 Temple Street.

“The well-being of our patients is our primary concern,” he said. “Our physicians, nurses and staff will provide care as usual at all our locations throughout New Haven.”
