The exhibition is a joint effort between Yale University and New Haven Public Schools, through Yale’s Tercentennial Office, Yale’s Office of New Haven and State Affairs, the above-listed schools and the office of Superintendent of Schools Reginald Mayo.
Light refreshments will be served, and an architectural tour and treasure hunt will follow the initial ceremonies.
Each year, more than 10,000 school children from throughout Greater New Haven visit Yale’s museums and galleries. This special exhibition highlights, in this Tercentennial year, the extensive ties between the University and public schools.
