Yale Entrepreneurial Society Hosts Venture Summit
The Yale Entrepreneurial Society will host “YES New York: The Yale Venture Summit,” on Thursday, February 8, from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at The Yale Club of New York City, 50 Vanderbilt Ave.
The YES summit is an event that brings together members of the New York business community associated with Yale University, along with current students and professors. The event provides an excellent networking opportunity for Yale affiliates and affords alumni an opportunity to learn about the exciting business-related developments on campus over the last year. The summit also includes a panel discussion titled “Building After the Bubble,” which will feature prominent members of the finance, venture capital and entrepreneurial communities.
Panelists for “Building After the Bubble” include: Robert C. Pozen, president of Fidelity Management & Research and vice chairman of Fidelity; Henry Blodget, senior internet and e-commerce analyst at Merrill Lynch; Frederick Frank, vice chairman of Lehman Brothers; Dev Bhatia, founder and CEO of HotSocket; Dave Edwards, managing partner at Charles River Ventures; David Cromwell, adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Yale School of Management and former CEO of J.P. Morgan Capital.
