Kids Get a Free Photo with Handsome Dan During Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 25

The Visitor Center at Yale University, located at 149 Elm Street, will be taking photographs of children in front of a backdrop depicting the Tercentennial bulldog, Handsome Dan, on Saturday, November 25, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Visitor Center at Yale University, located at 149 Elm Street, will be taking photographs of children in front of a backdrop depicting the Tercentennial bulldog, Handsome Dan, on Saturday, November 25, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The free Polaroid photo with Handsome Dan is enclosed in a paper frame. SantaUs hat replaces DanUs Tercentennial birthday hat for the holidays. The Center will also serve holiday cookies during that time.

The highlight of the day is the cityUs Christmas tree lighting ceremony on the New Haven Green at 6:00 p.m. Residents who are downtown for the Christmas tree lighting and the Tree of Hope celebration at City Hall may take advantage of this treat at the Visitor Center.
