Yale University and the city of New Haven continue their joint effort to enhance leadership and management skills of University, city and other private-sector managers with the second session of the Management Training Institute set to begin on Friday, October 27.
Managers from Yale, the city and non-profit institutions will attend five workshops held on campus and led by experts from the city and the University’s faculty, staff and alumni. Each session will involve issues affecting the city, Yale and non-profit institutions, and will offer state-of-the-art information on management skills and effective techniques, a “hands-on” understanding of how to apply the skills and techniques, and detailed job aids, check lists, decision tables and reference materials to use on the job.
The class will run on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for five sessions, with graduation on December 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. At the end of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion from MTI.
