OCTI, A New Game of Strategy, Makes A Debut at Yale on June 11

Get on board as the brand new game OCTI is launched.

Designed by Yale professor Donald Green, the riveting board game can challenge and intrigue players of all ages. While its rules are far easier to master than chess, its seemingly limitless range of moves and countermoves makes it even more sophisticated.

Find out why this fascinating new game is being heralded as the next successor to chess, as Donald Green and a growing band of OCTI enthusiasts meet to play each other–and maybe you!

Successful opponents will take home hundreds of dollars worth of fun and games, including a hand-crafted treasure chest of other strategy games produced by the Great American Trading Co.

The demonstration tournament of OCTI will take place in the library of the Institution for Social and Policy Studies, Yale University, 77 Prospect St., New Haven, on Friday, June 11, at 3:00 p.m. Those who would like a free tutorial with Donald Green before the games begin, should contact Dorie Baker at 432-8553. Members of the media are welcome to attend.
