Attached is a statement made today by Yale University President Richard C. Levin announcing Yale’s support for Science Park, a business park adjacent to the University. The statement was made at a 2:30 p.m. news conference in the Park, which was attended by Governor Rowland.
Levin announced that Yale will contribute about $600,000 to stabilize the Park’s operating budget while construction of new space is under way. These funds are in addition to the $1.7 million that Yale has contributed to Science Park in the last four years.
