Yale to Announce Results of Record-Setting Five-Year Capital Campaign

Yale University will announce the results of its five-year, $1.5 billion capital campaign on Wednesday, October 1.

Terry H. Holcombe, Yale’s Vice President for Development & Alumni Affairs, will be available to discuss the results of the campaign with members of the media at 1 p.m. on the 14th Floor of One Century Tower 265 Church Street near the intersection of Church and Grove Streets in New Haven.

Yale announced in 1992 that it would seek to raise $1.5 billion in donations from alumni, friends, foundations and corporations. The total included $500 million for current programs, $500 million for facilities and $500 million for the University’s endowment. Yale’s $1.5 billion goal was the largest ever established by an institution of higher education.
