Art enthusiasts, students, faculty, scholars, and artists gathered on Sept. 13 for the opening of “Lunch with Olympia” at the Yale School of Art’s 32 Edgewood Avenue Gallery. The exhibition has been organized by the school and the Department of the History of Art in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Manet’s landmark paintings, “Olympia” and “Le dejuener sur l’herbe,” and the birth of Modernism. The show continues through Nov. 21. The gallery is open free of charge Tuesday–Sunday, noon–6 p.m.
