Yale observed Veterans Day on Nov. 11 at a ceremony on Beinecke Plaza that included remarks from Yale faculty and students, and the traditional laying of a wreath in front of the World War I Memorial. Yale undergraduates and alumni have a record of service to their country that originated with the founding of the Republic and continues to this day. More than 60 veterans or active duty officers are currently attending classes at Yale.
