Yale’s Ronnell Higgins was among the Connecticut police chiefs reminding both students and drivers to keep their heads up for safety’s sake in a Back-to-School public service announcement (PSA) now airing on WFSB-Channel 3.

Co-sponsored by the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association, the PSA also features police chiefs from East Hartford, Watertown, and Monroe.

In his segment, Higgins — flanked by other members of the Yale Police Department —urges students to pay attention while walking; the other chiefs emphasize the dangers of distracted driving need for safety.
