Browse through the prolific work of Class of 1965 Authors being displayed in the Sterling Memorial Library Memorabilia Room as the Yale alumni return for their 50th reunion. The exhibit showcases work spanning many genres — from scholarly monograph to journalism, travelogue, memoir, and fiction. Free. 120 High St. 8:30 a.m.-4:45 p.m.

Enjoy volunteering at the Yale Farm. No farming experience is necessary to participate in Yale Farm Workdays. Just show up and join in — everyone is welcome. Free. Yale Farm, 345 Edwards St. 1-5 p.m.

Take a look at two new exhibits at the Harvey Cushing/John Hay Whitney Medical Library. Baldwin’s Patent Medicines is a series of nine letterpress posters from the late 19th century advertising specific tonics and pills for an extensive range of complaints. The second exhibit, Preserving Form, Preserving Content: Caring for Collections at the Medical Library, explores how the library works to preserve its collections, keeping them accessible for future generations of researchers. The exhibit also provides guidance for individuals with personal collections about how to care for their cherished items. Free. View the new exhibit, Survival and Souvenirs: Connecticut’s Indigenous Basketmakers, featuring a selection of baskets from across the state, celebrating the craftsmanship, beauty, and importance of basketmaking to the history of Connecticut and its peoples. Wander through the galleries exploring the treasures at the Yale University Art Gallery — or take an interactive Highlights Tour focusing on a handful of objects chosen to showcase both the permanent collection and special exhibitions currently on view.
