New Haven Restaurant Week (fall edition) returns Nov. 2–7
The Elm City has long been recognized for its distinctive regional cuisine and diverse eateries. “Everyday connoisseurs” in the region can enjoy those culinary offerings at a discount during the bi-annual New Haven Restaurant Week presented by Liberty Bank, taking place Nov 2–7.
Thirty five of the city’s restaurants — including six new participating establishments — will offer a three-course, prix fixe menu for lunch and/or dinner, which includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Lunch is offered at $18 per person, and dinner at $32 per person. Prices do not include beverages, tax or gratuity (some restrictions may apply). In addition to the special prix fixe menus, regular dining menus will be offered as well. It is strongly recommended that visitors make reservations in advance.
In addition, Park New Haven will offer $4 parking in its Crown Street and Temple Street garages 4 p.m.-midnight throughout New Haven Restaurant Week.
“New Haven Restaurant Week always brings flavorful energy to the city,” said Mayor Toni N. Harp. “We’ve seen great success in previous years, and it’s exciting how the number of restaurant participants continues to grow.”
The new establishments participating in New Haven Restaurant Week are Caffe Bravo, Lucky Chao, Olea, Stone Hearth, Tarry Lodge, and Taste of China. Twenty-five of the 35 participating restaurants are offering lunch in addition to dinner. The full list of restaurants follows:
