New Haven’s Broadway shopping and dining district will welcome two new retailers and a restaurant, even as it bids farewell to two familiar enterprises.

International retailers Emporium DNA and Kiko Milano will share space at the 1 Broadway location, Yale University Properties and The shops at Yale announced in July. Kiko Milano is an affordable cosmetics brand from Italy, while Emporium DNA features contemporary apparel and accessories brands.

Earlier in July, Educated Burgher (which is not a Yale tenant) closed its doors after three decades of serving the university and city communities, and Gourmet Heaven will close both its Broadway and Whitney Avenue stores on June 30, 2015.

Also coming this fall: Tarry Lodge, a Mario Batali restaurant, will open at 278 Park St., adjacent to St. Thomas More Chapel at Yale.
