Foodies and families invited to the Specialty Food Market on July 13

The shops at Yale, a group of local merchants, is hosting its second annual Open Air Specialty Food Market on Sunday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Broadway Island in downtown New Haven.

The shops at Yale, a group of local merchants, is hosting its second annual Open Air Specialty Food Market on Sunday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Broadway Island in downtown New Haven. 

Foodies and families can enjoy a day of sampling small bites from over 20 Connecticut- and New York-based specialty food vendors and trucks.  All food will be available for purchase.

Participating vendors include Bella Bella Gourmet, Chef’s Equipment Emporium, Chestnut Fine Foods, Flat Dog LLC, Grassy Hill Farm, Harney & Sons Fine Teas, Holly’s Oatmeal, Komfort-Zone, LLC, Mariah’s Chow Chow Relish, Meadow Stone Farm, Olivette, The Purple Pear by Tina, Scratch Bakery, Tom’s Roid Rippin’ Hot Sauce, Ay! Arepa, The Gourmet Lady, Uncle D’s Blazin’ BBQ, DJ’s Grill, Vinci’s Concessions, The Granola Bar of Westport, Elm City Kettle Corn LLC.

Broadway Island is adjacent to the Broadway Center lot across from J. Crew and Apple. 

To reach the food market, take Exit 47 (Downtown New Haven) off Interstate 95. Parking is available at the Broadway Center parking lot (GPS: 30 Broadway, New Haven, CT).  Additional parking is available at the York/Chapel garage at 150 York St.
