Womens Ice Hockey
See Yale Women’s Ice Hockey vs. Union at Ingall’s Rink, 73 Sachem St. 7 p.m.

Movie night
Take your seat for Movie Night at the Planetarium. The monthly series begins Friday with the movie Deep Impact, “a thriller with brains.” An astronomer will introduce and offer commentary on the science of the movie and the threat of asteroid impacts. Free. Leitner Observatory Planetarium, 355 Prospect St. 7-10 p.m.

Saturday

Explore the newly refurbished Study Room at the Yale Center for British Art. The community is invited to a Study Room Open House to learn about this unique resource, meet curators and staff, and enjoy refreshments in the Library Court. Curators will lead informal conversations about works in the collection at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. Free. 1080 Chapel St. 1-4 p.m.

Philharmonia
Listen to the Yale Philharmonia and Yale Choral Artists, with the Yale Baroque Ensemble as they perform Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor, K. 427 with Jeffrey Douma, conducting. Free. Sprague Memorial Hall, Morse Recital Hall, 470 College St. 8 p.m.

Sunday

Angles on Art
Join Sinclaire Marber, an undergraduate gallery guide, as she explores Angles on Art: The Art of Transformation. Gallery guides initiate lively conversations to address a range of topics and inspire visitors to see the collection in new ways. Free. Yale University Art Gallery, 1111 Chapel St. 11:30 a.m. 

All Weekend

Tiny Titans
Take a look at some pre-historic babies — dinosaur babies that is. Tiny Titans: Dinosaur Eggs and Babies is a family-friendly exhibition featuring collections of dinosaur eggs, nests, embryos, and young, with video presentations summarizing the latest findings of dinosaur experts. Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, 170 Whitney Ave. Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.

Byobu
Be among the first to enjoy Tales and Poems in Byobu: The Grandeur of Japanese Screens. This is the first of three successive installations, and will feature the subjects of indigenous Japanese waka poems, and fictional and historical tales. Free. Yale University Art Gallery, 1111 Chapel St. Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Spitfire Grill
Enjoy a country/folk musical about redemption. The Spitfire Grill follows the journey of a young woman just released from prison who decides to start her life anew in a rural Wisconsin town. The musical, by James Valcq and Fred Alley, is a theater studies senior project for Lucy Cabrera and Wells Thorne. Free, but register in advance. Whitney Humanities Center, 53 Wall St. Performances Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.
