Broadway beckons with student discounts and more during College Night

Yale graduate and undergraduate college students who visit the city’s Broadway district during College Night on Friday, April 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. can enjoy discounted shopping and special activities, as well as free food, live music, giveaways, and a raffle with a chance to win a free iPad or a $250 gift card to Urban Outfitters.

Sponsored by the shops at Yale, College Night features over 20 stores and restaurants along Broadway — including but not limited to J Crew, Jack Wills, Urban Outfitters, Alex and Ani, and the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at Yale. Participating stores will have discounts of up to 20% off, along with some special in-store promotions, such as free jewelry to the first 200 customers at Laila Rowe and free Ashley’s Ice Cream.

As students shop around Broadway, they can listen to live music featuring the band Kings of Harmony. Other offerings include free henna tattoos, free caricatures, free kettle corn, and free ice cream from Ashley’s.

Parking is available at the 272 Elm St. surface parking lot, located next to Trailblazer, and at the parking lot behind the Payne Whitney Gym.
