Blog: Yale from Dongguan to Delhi in real time

Fifteen students and two faculty members from Yale’s Environmental Studies 346 class are traveling through China and India over spring break — reporting their experience first-hand via blogs, Twitter, and Instagram.

Air quality, bottled water, meat and dairy consumption, Starbucks, urban transport, and water supply are the six themes student research teams are investigating as they look at urbanization in China and India, asking: “[I]s it a problem or a possible solution to the environment and to sustainable development?”
