If you’re thinking of visiting New Haven but aren’t quite sure what to do while you’re here, a new website launched by the shops at Yale does the planning for you.
Titled “It’s a CINcH! (Complete Itineraries New Haven),” the site offers proposals for half-day itineraries that include visits to local attractions, suggested shopping and dining destinations, as well as instructions on where to park.
“This is a great opportunity for people who haven’t been to New Haven in a while to see how vibrant our downtown area has become,” says Lauren Zucker, Yale associate vice president and director of new haven affairs. “New Haven has an abundance of culinary, cultural, architectural, and retail store offerings.
“It’s a CINcH! simplifies it for the busy consumer by creating half-day excursions for various interests — including ones designed for kids, art enthusiasts, theater-goers, sports fans, and parents with teenagers,” she adds.

The shops at Yale offer a blend of locally owned boutiques, national retailers and award-winning restaurants lining historic Chapel Street and Broadway in downtown New Haven.
