Economist Larry Summers to discuss challenges for next generation
Lawrence Summers, former president of Harvard University and former director of the National Economic Council, will speak at Yale on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
The free and public lecture, titled “Economic Possibilities for Our Children,” will take place in the auditorium of Sheffield-Sterling-Strathcona Hall (SSS 114), 1 Prospect St., 4–5:30 p.m.
Summers was U.S. secretary of the treasury from 1999 to 2001 and is currently the Charles Eliot University Professor at Harvard. He will speak about the major economic challenges facing the next generation
