Celebrate Family Day with the shops at Yale

Visitors can enjoy a day with the kids and explore the shops at Yale during the first annual Family Day event on Saturday, July 14.

Participating stores on Chapel Street and Broadway will be offering food, fun, and summer deals. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. visitors can enjoy face painting, caricature artists, balloon twisting, magicians, a live DJ, and more.  Cotton candy, popcorn, pizza, and Ashley’s Ice Cream are some of the treats on the menu.

Visitors may pre-register online at theshopsatyale.com or register the day of the event on Market Island on Broadway (across from J. Crew and Urban Outfitters) or at Info New Haven (corner of College and Chapel streets). The cost is $10 per family (up to 3 children).  Free validated parking will be available at York Street Garage.
