UTC Contributes $1 Million to Smilow Cancer Hospital

The Smilow Cancer Hospital is the recipient of a $1 million contribution from United Technologies Corp. The money will help patients throughout the region by expanding clinical space for Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale Cancer Center and Yale School of Medicine.

The Smilow Cancer Hospital is the recipient of a $1 million contribution from United Technologies Corp. The money will help patients throughout the region by expanding clinical space for Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale Cancer Center and Yale School of Medicine. 

“Smilow Cancer Hospital will provide world-class care to our community and play an important role in the search for a cure to this terrible disease,” said Louis Chênevert, UTC president and chief executive officer. “Yale Cancer Center is one of only 39 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensivecancer centers, and the only one in southern New England. I’m proud that UTC can support this exceptional new cancer facility in our community.”
