Correction - 9/11/97: Six New Haven Leaders to be Honored at Yale

A recent press release announcing this year’s Yale Divinity School Coffin-Forsberg Fellows misstated the professional title of one of the award recipients.

Thomas Ficklin is CEO and editor-in-chief of “Inner City,” a weekly newspaper focusing on the African-American community in New Haven. The newspaper’s publisher and president is John P. Thomas, Jr.

Mr. Ficklin will be honored at an installation ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, in the Divinity School’s Marquand Chapel, 409 Prospect St., along with five other community leaders: the Rev. Louise Higginbotham, the Rev. Kevan Hitch, Charles Henry Jefferson, the Rev. Betsy Lewis, and Al Marder.
